Meet the minor cannabinoids

CBG, CBN, CBC, and THCV don't get the headlines. Here's who they are and where they show up in the GURU lineup.

THC and CBD get the attention, but the cannabis plant makes more than a hundred cannabinoids. A few of the lesser-known ones play a supporting role in GURU’s five vibes.

CBG

Often called the “mother” cannabinoid, because its acid form, CBGA, is the starting material the plant converts into THC, CBD, and others. It’s usually present in small amounts. You’ll find it in the Focus lineup.

CBN

CBN forms as THC ages and oxidizes, which is why older cannabis tends to contain more of it. It’s part of the Sleep and Relax lineups.

CBC

A non-intoxicating cannabinoid that shares the same parent molecule as THC and CBD. It’s part of the Create and Social lineups.

THCV

A close chemical cousin of THC with a slightly different structure. It’s found in small amounts in certain cultivars, and it’s part of the Focus and Create lineups.
